Julius Reitemeier

Julius is a second-year graduate student in the @BohnGroup. He completed his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemistry @UniHeidelberg and his research focuses on the fabrication and design of nanoelectrochemical biosensors. At times when he is not working in the clean room, Julius enjoys participating in all kinds of team-oriented sports and is regularly competing in intramural tournaments. By carrying over his desire and passion to lead and shape projects with his friends and colleagues, we are looking forward to stepping into a bright year at ECS ND student chapter.

Bo-An Chen

Bo-An is a fourth year doctoral student in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Notre Dame. He graduated from National Taiwan University (NTU) with a Masters’ degree in Chemistry in 2016. Bo-An's current research is focused on exciton dynamics in 2-dimensional materials and its mechanism on photo- and electrocatalytic CO2 reduction. He also studies the fundamental knowledge of ion conductivity in novel solid electrolyte.

Lingyu is a forth-year graduate student in the @SchaeferGroup. She completed her bachelor degree in Chemistry at Sichuan University and master degree in polymer science at Case Western Reserve University. Lingyu works on the development of ion conductors for alkaline fuel cell and solid-state lithium ion battery applications. In her free time, Lingyu likes making memes and petting cats remotely

Jishnu Chakkamalayath

Jishnu is a fourth-year doctoral student at Prashant Kamat lab in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Notre Dame. Jishnu’s current research is focused on studying the interfacial processes occurring in semiconductor-metal and semiconductor-dye hybrid nanostructures. Outside the lab, he enjoys travelling, hiking and playing volleyball
